Birth Unknown. He was a half blooded Indian outlaw, who made his living from cattle rustling and robbing stages. He was named one of the five assassins that conspired in the killing of Morgan Earp on the night of March 18, 1882. Theodore Judah, a worker at the Spence's Wood Camp, told the Earps that Cruz was hiding out there. Florentino's body was later found riddled with bullet holes.
