Born 1852 birth place unknown. Thought to have been a lawyer and bookkeeper in Missouri, Jack and his brothers fled after a violent street clash in the town of Webb City, Missouri. It was said that he might have spent some time in the Deadwood, Dakota Territory in 1876. It was once said he killed two men with two pistols, however there are no records to support this. Jack Johnson eventually wound up in Tombstone, Arizona and became one of the Posse that rode with Wyatt Earp during the infamous Vendetta Ride. Turkey Creek Jack Johnson died in Salt lake City, Utah Territory of Tuberculosis in 1887.
